John Tejada maps electronic music across time, connecting the underground’s history with the sounds shaping its future. Deep cuts and new releases move through techno, electro, house, ambient, and other corners of electronic music, with each selection building naturally into the next. The show is as much about flow as discovery, tracing the ideas, rhythms, and innovations that continue to push electronic music forward. Expect established innovators alongside emerging producers and overlooked gems from decades past. Tune in to John’s show Tuesday and Sunday nights from 10pm to midnight.
Peanut Butter Wolf goes deep into a lifetime of collecting, pulling from more than 50,000 records alongside a digital archive packed with unreleased music and overlooked discoveries. The founder of Stones Throw Records favors the underdog, moving through hip-hop, funk, soul, electronic music, oddball records, rarities, and sounds that resist easy categorization. Inspired by generations of adventurous DJs and selectors, the show treats digging as an art form and the unexpected find as the ultimate reward. Tune in every third Sunday of the month from 8 to 10pm.
A mix of all kinds, from all over and all time. Henry Rollins treats the radio as a place for serious musical exploration, bringing punk, experimental music, jazz, global sounds, independent releases, archival discoveries, and whatever else demands to be heard into the same restless orbit. The selections can travel across decades and continents in minutes, driven less by genre than an insatiable appetite for records and discovery. It’s radio for listeners willing to follow the music wherever it goes. Tune in Mondays from 10pm to midnight and Fridays from 8 to 10pm.
New rhythms, sonic memory lanes and everything else in between. Anne Litt brings KCRW’s eclectic sound into the weekend with a mix that connects emerging artists, enduring favorites, and songs whose influence continues to reverberate. New music sits alongside post-punk, indie, soul, electronic sounds, and unexpected excursions through the past, always with discovery at the center. The show makes room for both recognition and surprise, tracing the connections between what shaped our ears and what might shape them next. Tune in to Anne’s show Saturdays from noon to 3pm.
Genre-defying sounds, from fresh cuts to timeless gems. Chris Douridas brings a deep sense of discovery to KCRW’s eclectic tradition, moving effortlessly between emerging artists, overlooked recordings, global sounds, and enduring songs from across the decades. Each set is built around connections rather than categories, allowing an unfamiliar new release to sit naturally beside a record with history. The result is a wide-ranging Sunday soundtrack shaped by curiosity and a belief that the next favorite song can come from anywhere. Tune in to Chris’s show Sundays from noon to 3pm.
Soulful grooves, fresh remixes, Latin rhythms, and rock come together in Raul Campos’ distinctly Los Angeles expression of KCRW’s eclectic sound. The show moves naturally between new music and classics, connecting electronic beats, house, soul, alternative sounds, and music from across Latin America and beyond. Rooted in the cultural mix of LA while keeping an ear on the wider world, Raul’s sets are built around rhythm, discovery, and unexpected connections. Familiar favorites meet sounds you may be hearing for the first time. Tune in Saturdays and Sundays from 3 to 6pm.
Part wax, part digital, pure heat. Tyler “Boogie” Boudreaux channels KCRW’s eclectic sound through a kaleidoscope of psych, garage rock, soul, funk, indie, and whatever else keeps the room moving. Vintage records collide with new releases, while techno, post-punk, trip-hop, darkwave, and unexpected detours keep the boundaries loose. The common thread is energy, groove, and discovery, with one foot in the crates and the other firmly planted in what’s happening now. Tune in to Tyler’s show Thursday nights from 8 to 10pm.
Jazz has never stood still, and neither does LeRoy Downs. Each Sunday night, the show explores the multitudes contained within jazz, moving from its history into the music’s constantly evolving present. Contemporary players meet foundational voices, while hip-hop, experimental music, spiritual jazz, global traditions, and the avant-garde reveal the genre’s many points of connection. LeRoy brings context and curiosity to every set, presenting jazz not as a museum piece but as an active, expanding language with countless stories still being written. Tune in Sunday nights from 10pm to midnight.
